Harse Autocraft
Overview

Harse Autocraft isn’t your average body shop — it’s a Canadian operation rooted in craftsmanship, long-term client trust, and automotive pride.

Antares Media was brought in to create a cinematic “About Us” film and a set of vertical-first social media clips to tell their story — not just what they do, but why they do it. This project was built to help Harse connect emotionally with their audience, build trust, and show the heart behind the hood.

The Process
01. RESEARCH

Before filming, we sat down with the Harse Autocraft team to dive deep into their story: how they started, what drives their work, and why their clients stick with them for years. We mapped out emotional beats for the About Us narrative and aligned it with their target customers — owners who care about the craft and who they’re trusting to make it happen.

This discovery helped shape our approach: intimate, authentic, and visually grounded in the shop’s real day-to-day.

02. DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

We crafted a video production plan that captured:

  • Owner and team interviews
  • Cinematic B-roll of shop work, detailing, welding, sanding
  • Real customer interactions

Shot with Sony FX3 and FX6 cameras in S-Log3, paired with Aputure lighting to sculpt depth and tone, and audio recorded via Sennheiser AVX. We then cut a main brand film, along with multiple vertical social edits designed for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Post-production focused on clean pacing, subtle sound design, and a warm, honest tone to reflect Harse’s values.

03. LAUNCH

The video was rolled out in stages:

  • The About Us film takes front stage on Harse Autocraft’s website — it’s the first thing you see when landing on their homepage. It sets the tone, builds trust, and instantly communicates what the brand is about.
  • The same video is also used in sales and shared directly with new clients as part of their onboarding experience.
  • Social cuts were optimized for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, giving the shop bite-sized, cinematic moments that showcase their vibe and hands-on expertise.

Feedback from existing clients was overwhelmingly positive — and now, even before someone steps foot in the shop, they feel like they already know the team and trust the craftsmanship.
